Coat of arms

Shield Azure, semy of corn cobs Or, with base wavy of Argent and Azure, in centre a crescent recumbent Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "GOVE".
Meaning:
The crescent is probably an attribute of St. Mary, the local patron saint.
