The Lemmer flag was adopted by the village of Lemmer in 2015. It is described as:

Five horizontal stripes of white, red, yellow, red and white, the widths of which are 1:1:2:1:1. The colors come from the municipal coat of arms of Lemsterland.

Lemmer is the seat of the municipality of Lemsterland in southern Fryslân, bordering on Flevoland. It is an old village with a small cosy harbour and a great restaurant, where you can for a very decent price eat tasty fish. It is also the village of the best speed-skater of all times, Rintje Ritsma (at least according to himself).
The coat of arms of Lemmer was azure, with a white cloud, from which an arm emerges with a black sleeve, holding a swallow-tailed flag: black with a white Scandinavian-type cross.

The village flag was: a green swallow-tailed flag with a red cross.
(according to Sierksma's Nederlands Vlaggenboek, 1962 [sie62] Sierksma has no image; it appears from the coat of arms that it is a centered cross, not taking in account the swallow-tail...
