Flag

The flag and arms of the town of Taraclia are prescribed by Decree No. 346 signed on 16 February 2022 by the President of the Republic and published on 25 February 2022 in the official gazette of the Republic of Moldova, No. 53-59.

Article 1.
The flag and arms of the town of Taraclia, approved by Decision No. 7/2 issued on 10 December 2021 by the Town Council of Taraclia (Appendices No. 1 and 2), shall be registered in the General Armorial of the Republic of Moldova.

Appendix No. 1
Coat of arms of the town of Taraclia
Gules a lion rampant or plowing with a plow of the same. A base argent a Tarac emblem azure.
The shield surmounted by a five-towered mural crown argent.
Supporters: A man and a woman standing, wearing Bulgarian national costume proper..
Motto: On a scroll argent capital letters gules, in Bulgarian: "БУЛГАРСКИЯТ ДУХ Е НЕПОБЕДИМ" (Bulgarian spirit is invincible).

Appendix No. 2
The flag is a rectangular cloth (2:3), divided into five green-white-red-white-green stripes (1:1:4:1:1), charged in the center of the red stripe with a yellow lion rampant plowing with a yellow plow.
