Overview

Gargzdai (also serving as the flag of Klaipeda District) - on a red field a silver sword with golden hilt going through a green wreath of laurel with golden fruits. Flag proportions 2:3, free edges bordered with two narrow golden stripes, fringe is golden, finial is a golden splay tip with two rings and golden bands. The charge of arms granted in 1792 should symbolize both glorious battles of past and readiness to defend country.
