A feudal Daimyo in the early Edo period who served Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Tokugawa Ieyasu. He was successful in the Battle of Sekigahara and became the feudal lord of Maoka in Shimotsuke Province (20,000 goku) and later Makabe in Hitachi Province. The war banner has black background with five white circles Shiromochi in Japanese meaning white rice cakes. The Shiromochi is pronounced the same as "castle-holder," in Japanese so it was a happy emblem for the warlords.
