The Flag

The flag of Kinko town is white with symbol. The town was founded on 2005 from merger of the towns of Onejime and Tashiro.
Tomislav Šipek, 28 March 2013

The town emblem was adopted on Aug 5th 2005 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green, a blue and an orange three color town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylizrd hiragana き Ki of Kinko. The green color stands for Sakurajima Island, Satsuma Fuji = Mt. Kaimondake and the ground, the blue color for Kinko Bay and a blue sky and the orange color for the landscape of the town shown up on the sunset. It represents a reconciliation and a solidarity of the town administration and an image of the vigorously bright town which makes a leap forward ,developes and prospers.
