A slightly different image is used on their Constitution (November 2017): http://www.rfyc.co.uk/uploads/constitution/rfyc_constitution.pdf. Apart from the slightly different crown, it's also the first of that design where the Saint Andrew's Cross is actually a cross.

This also tells us:
SECTION 1 - NAME AND OBJECTS ...
1.4
The RFYC flag shall be a white burgee with a blue St Andrew's cross and crown of gold.
1.4.1 The Commodore's flag shall be a swallow tailed flag bearing the colours of the burgee.
1.4.2 The Vice and Rear Commodore's flags shall be similar to that of the Commodore's defaced by one or two blue dots respectively.
1.4.3 The past Commodore's flag shall be rectangular in shape and bearing the colours of the burgee.
