The Société Générale de Transbordement Maritime was a ship handling company, active in the port of Marseilles.
Requisitioned during the Second World War, the company resumed its activity after the war, until a date yet to be precised. All its ships but the Branly were named Servaux xx, xx being a serial number; the company was therefore linked to the Services Auxiliaires de l'Armement company; the house flags of the two companies are also related.

The Yearbook of the Central Committee of France Shipowners (1922) shows the company's house flag as horizontally divided white-red-white.

Entreprise des Bassins de Radoub de Toulon was in charge of the management of the dry docks (bassins de radoub) in the port of Toulon.

Album des Pavillons (1923) [f9r23] shows the house flag of the company as white with three horizontal red stripes.
The similar flag pattern seems to indicate that this company was related to Servaux.
