Flag of Montmirail

The flag of Montmirail (photo) is white with the municipal coat of arms and the name of the municipality below.
The arms, "Barry of six vair and gules", belonged to the lords of Coucy, who succeeded the local lords of Montmirail in 1272 and ruled the place until the late 14th century. The present-day castle of Montmirail dates back to the 16th century.
