UCL (website) was established on 18 February 2016 as an organization claiming revolutionary struggle as a means to implement
communism and to create a genuine Communist Party.
UCL is member of ICOR (International Coordination of Revolutionary
Parties and Organizations); in partnership with the UPML (Union
Prolétarienne Marxiste-Léniniste), UCL seeks for the creation of a
French coordination of ICOR.
The flag of UCL (photo, photo, photo, photo, photo, photo, photo) is black with the movement's emblem placed on a white disk. The emblem of UCL is composed of a red triangle pointing downwards, with a thin white border outline in red, placed over a black cog-wheel.

UPML (website) aims at unifying communists to rebuild a genuine Communist Party. UPML was founded in September 2016 by a group of militants expelled from OCML-VP (Organisation Communiste Marxiste-Léniniste - Voie Prolétarienne).
The flag of UPML (photo) is red with the movement's emblem in canton.
UPML is member of ICOR (International Coordination of Revolutionary
Parties and Organizations); recently, it used a red flag with the
party's emblem (flag excluded), the yellow letters "UPML" below and,
close to the flag's bottom, the emblem of ICOR in white (photo).
