Presentation of Villeguillo

The municipality of Villeguillo (170 inhabitants in 2010; 1,669 ha) is located in the west of Segovia Province, on the border with Valladolid Province, 60 km km from Segovia.

Symbols of Villeguillo

The flag and arms of Villeguillo are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 1 September 1997 by the Segovia Provincial Government, signed on 4 September 1997 by the President of the Government, and published on 16 September 1997 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 177 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Quadrangular flag with proportions 1:1, green with a blue wavy fess. In the middle of the flag is placed the municipal coat of arms in full colors.
Coat of arms: Per fess, 1a. Gules a key or a key argent per saltire, 1b. Or a pine eradicated proper, 2. Azure a bend or, a bordure or five stars azure. The shield surmounted with a Royal Spanish crown.
