Introduction

The club was established in 1920 and based in berlin-Spandau. The club was a club of political left wingers, the star in penannt was inspired by the communist red star, used among others by the Soviet Union. After the dissolution of FSV the club was forced to become a member of DSV in 1935 and to change its name and pennant in 1936. Since then the name is "Segel-Club Nordstern, Spandau e.V." (SCN).
