Oberstadion Coat of Arms

Shield Sable, three wolf traps Or, ordered per pale.
Meaning:
Oberstadion had been the ancestral seat of the Counts of Stadion. Their arms displayed black wolf traps in a golden shield around 1340, later on only in counterchanged tinctures. Both versions in the beginning also were displayed in the municipal arms. In 1952 the municipality gained permission to use the family arms, granted by the last countess of the Stadion kin.

The arms were approved on 21 January 1951 by Minister of Interior of Württemberg-Hohenzollern. The banner was approved on 27 January 1982 by the county administration, published in GABl 559/1983.
