Shield parted per fess of Gules and Azure, charged with a fleur-de-lis Or at dexter and a key Or and a sword Or in saltire at sinister, base wavy Argent.
Meaning:
The tinctures red and blue and key and sword as attributes of St. Peter and St. Paul are taken from the arms of the Beuerberg Abbey, to which the parish churches of Degerndorf (since 1212) and Münsing (since 1355) had been incorporated. The lily is an attribute of St. Mary, patron saint of the church, dedicated to Our Lady of Assumption in Münsing, of the chapel dedicated to the Virgin Mother in Ambach and of the parish church of Sankt Heinrich. The base wavy is symbolising the location between the hills alongside the Starnberg Lake and the Loisach River. Ammerland, Holzhausen, Ambach and Sankt Heinrich are located on the east bank of the lake.
