Shield parted per pale, at dexter Argent hammer and mallet Sable in saltire, at sinister Azure a grain ear Or with two leaves.
Meaning:
The ear is symbolising agriculture, the former main business line. Hammer and mallet, the symbols of mining, are symbolising the depletion of fluorspar and the production of bricks and fireclay. The tinctures blue and white are those of Bayern, to which the municipality belonged for centuries.
