Waltenhofen Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess, above Sable three crescents recumbent Or ordered 2:1, beneath Argent two chevrons Gules.
Meaning:
The upper half displays the arms of the Lords of Rauns, local rulers between 1367 and 1464.The lower half is a differentiation of the family arms of their successors, the Lords of Werdenstein.
