Börtlingen Coat of Arms

Shield Vert, a pair of wings Argent.
Meaning:
The arms are based on researches of a local priest from 1947. According to these researches the arms had been those of the local Lords of Bertnang.

The arms were approved on 27 January 1948 by the state government of Württemberg-Baden, the banner on 30 June 1959 by Minister of Interior of Baden-Württemberg, published in GABl 330/1959. Württemberg-Baden is one of the predecessors of Baden-Württemberg, consisting of those parts, after WW2 belonging to the German zone under US-occupation.
