Kammeltal Coat of Arms

Shield Or a fess Sable, chief Gules charged with three initials ā€žPā€œ Argent in fess.
The municipal arms are basically those of the the Augustine Wettenhausen Monastery, an important local manorial lord. The initials are taken from the family arms of the Vöhlin kin, patricians from Memmingen, who had close connections to the Lordship of Neuburg upon Kammel, to which the current municipality historically belonged.
