Shield Azure a fleur-de-lis Or; mantled, at dexter bendy of five of Gules and Argent, at sinister Argent a wolf rampant Sable crowned Or.
Meaning:
The upper dexter field is taken from the arms of the Counts of Berg-Burgau, local rulers in the village since the middle of the 12th century. The crowned wolf is taken from the arms of the Lords of Westernach, liege lords and holders of the local cognisance since 1350. The fleur-de-lis is taken from the arms of the Fugger kin. The family acquired the complete village in 1533. The village became a dominion of the Glött branch of the family and was lost in 1806.
