Hausen Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess; above Or an upper demi scoop wheel issuant Sable; beneath parted per pale, at dexter parted of Sable and Gules by a chevron reversed cotised Argent in bend, at sinister Argent a palm frond Gules in bend sinister.
Meaning:
The scoop wheel is reminding on the old irrigation systems of the municipality. The colours black and golden are alluding to long and close relationships of the municipality to the Archbishopric of Bamberg. The chevron is taken from the family arms of the Barons Haller of Hallerstein, former local rulers. The palm frond here is an attribute of St. Wolfgang, patron saint of the local church.
