Berlingerode Coat of Arms

The shield is red. A silver, sinister-bendy axe is splitting an oak stomp of the same with one leaf. In dexter chief is a silver, 6-spokes wheel.
Meaning:
The wheel is alluding to the Archbishops of Mainz, the former rulers. All other elements are canting, especially related to the suffix "-rode ", denoting settlements created by forest clearance.

Brehme Coat of Arms

The shield is parted per saltire into red and silver, over all is a blue bar wavy. The chief quarter is charged with a silver 6-spokes wheel, the base quarter with a silver oak leaf.
Meaning:
The bar wavy is alluding to local fountains. The wheel is representing the Archbishops of Mainz, the former rulers. The leaf is alluding to local oak groves and to the Eichsfeld region, meaning "field of oaks".

The shield is parted per pale. At dexter in a silver field is a green tobacco plant with one red blossom. At sinister in a green field is a silver pale, issuant from base and carrying an image, displaying a holy scene, at its top.
Meaning:
The plant is reminding on the historical importance of growing and manufacturing tobacco in the past. Pale and image are a local point of interest.

Teistungen Coat of Arms

The shield is divided per fess. Above in a blue field is a silver lion passant guardant. The silver field beneath is divided by a black saltire, charged with a pair of golden keys.
Meaning:
The lion is a modification of the arms of the Westernhagen kin. The saltire is an attribute of St. Andrew, the local patron saint, the keys are attributes of St. Peter, patron of nearby monastery of Teistungenburg.

The shield is blue. Issuant from base is a silver mount charged with two green oak leaves and crowned by a silver tower masoned black.
Meaning:
The leaves are representing a special local oak tree and the Eichsfeld region in general. The tower is representing a local watch tower, called Wehnder Warte.
