Obernheim Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, a fess Azure.
Meaning:
A seal of the local village mayor from around 1820 displayed a little tree, flanked by two bushes. In 1927 there existed an oval coloured punch, displaying a little tree on top of a green hill, flanked by a radiant sun and a radiant moon crescent. The tree is considered to be the "tree of the witch". The current arms are derived from the personal seal of Johann of Obernheim from 1367.

The arms were approved on 27 October 1950 by Minister of Interior of Württemberg-Hohenzollern. The banner was approved on 15 January 1982 by the county administration, published in GABl 559/1983.
