La Vallée-du-Richelieu is a regional county municipality in the Montérégie region in southwestern Quebec. Its seat is McMasterville.

The logo was rejuvenated in late 2019.

Letter "V" represents the valley that constitutes its reference axis. The "V" also represents river Richelieu and its geographical localization on the territory. The "V"'s straightforward basis refers to modernism used in the development of residential areas.
Letter "V" also illustrates a heartbeat as seen on a cardiogram. This was the logo's first inspiration, highlighting the territory's vitality through family life, borough life, municipal life, communitary life, economic life, etc.
Letters "MRC" emphasizes the main components of the territory, mountains ("Montagnes"), river ("Rivière') and fields ("Champs").
