The flag and arms of Rondo Alta are prescribed by Municipal Law No. 611 promulgated on 18 September 1992.

Article 4.
The coat of arms of the municipality of Rondo Alta has the following characteristics.
I. Miniaturized representations of maize, wheat and soybean, representing the municipality's three cultures.
II. A pig's head, representing pig breeding, one of the main sources of income for the municipality.
III. A cogwheel representing industry.
IV. A helmet representing the settlement's sovereignty, self-determination and culture, as well as vigilance and dedication to the motherland.
V. A scroll interlaced with the shield symbolizing solidarity, hospitality and unity of the Ronda Alta's people.
VI. A four-towered diadem representing Commerce.
VII. The date "26/12/63", the municipality's day as its date of creation.
VIII. The motto "IN LABORE VICTORIA", meaning that the municipality shall triumph through work.

Article 5.
The colors have the following meaning.
I. Green represents fields, forests and crops.
II. Yellow represents resources, soil and economic progress.
III. Red represents work, struggle and ardor and willingness to triumph and grow.
IV. Black represents difficulties, stones on the path, and economic and monetary crises.

Article 7.
The flag of the municipality obeys the following rules.
I. The shape of the flag of the municipality is rectangular.
II. The flag is composed of a white panel charged in the center with the coat of arms of the municipality inscribed in a circle, in green, yellow, red and black shades, which are also the municipality's colors.
III. The flag of the municipality described in Article 4 shall have the motto "IN LABORE VICTORIA" substituted by the name of the municipality.
IV. The two sides of the flag shall be exactly identical, mirroring each other.
V. The features of the flag shall follow the prescriptions of Articles 4 and 5 of [Federal] Law No. 5,700 promulgated in 1971.
