Jebel Ali Sailing Club was founded in 1977 by a small group of sailing enthusiasts and is located at Mina Seyaha on land granted by His Highness Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum. From its small beginnings the Club has grown to become the most active sailing club in the Gulf. The Club offers certified sailing courses and there is training and racing every week of the year. There is an active schools programme and the Club provides ideal support for sailors from beginner through to World Championship level.
The burgee of the JASC is a 4:5 triangular blue flag with a thin vertical white stripe and a thin horizontal white stripe between the hoist and the vertical stripe. The horizontal stripe is centered whereas the vertical stripe is skewed to the fly of the burgee.
