The Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, commonly known as Qatar Foundation, QF (in Arabic: مؤسسة قطر ) is a private, non-profit organization that serves the people of Qatar by supporting and operating programs in three core mission areas: education, science and research, and community development.

It was established in 1995.

The flag

Its flag is a white horizontal background with the logo in the middle, Sidra tree (Ziziphus spina-christi), which is native to Qatar and flourishes in harsh and arid climate.

The branches of Sidra tree represent the diversity and expanse of QF, which consists of more than 50 entities. The leaves and flowers of the tree equate to the individual lives that it nourishes, with the fruits going on to produce seeds that guarantee sustainability and a healthy future, all in green color (logo outline and organization's name).
