Blazon: I sølv en svart moskus. In English: Argent a musk oxen sable.

The musks were imported to Dovre plateau from Greenland in 1930's in an attempt to herd them for wool industry. Eventually, they were not used for this purpose, but a steady population of musks is widely known characteristic of Dovre.
