This is the former flag of Det Norske Luftfartselskap, founded by the Fred. Olsen Lines in 1933, and was one of the predecessors of SAS (Scandinavian Airlines System). As such the flag was clearly inspired by the house flag of the Fred. Olsen Lines. In use 1930s - 1940s.
