Ziggioto (1998) reports "On the gulf of Cambay lies the small state of Sachin, which has a Red Ensign with in the fly a right hand, palm facing, in green color (the hand of Fatima), which denotes the Muslim religion of Sachin's Nabob.

Haynes' Indian Princely States reported a couple of flags: a striped flag of red, green, yellow, purple and dark blue, and a plain red flag, about which he writes "an alternate state flag has also been recorded"
