Description of the flag

The Confederacy of Nova Scotia Métis flag incorporates the infinity symbol with respect. It is designed after the wampum belts which were used to seal Treaties between First Nations and with European and Colonial governments. The figures represent the joining of cultures which now represent our Métis People.
