Description of the flag

The flag was granted on February 15, 1991. Vol. II, p. 76: the announcement of the Letters Patent was made on May 4, 1991, in Volume 125, page 1485 of the Canada Gazette. The flag is a banner of the Arms, full description: http://reg.gg.ca/heraldry/pub-reg/project-pic.asp?lang=e&ProjectID=1487&ProjectElementID=4960). The creator from original concept of the Arms and flag are: Robert D. Watt, Chief Herald of Canada, assisted by the heralds of the Canadian Heraldic Authority.
