Silveira Ramos and Geraldo Bresolin, coming from Guaporé, Casca and Serafina
Corrêa, respectively.
Flor de Sertão was elevated to a district of Maravilha
on 14 December 1961. The municipality of Flor do Sertão was established by State
Law No. 9,992 promulgated on 29 September 1995, and inaugurated on 1 January
1997.
