Judiciary of South Africa

The flag of the Judiciary of South Africa has the emblem of the Judiciary in the centre of a white field.  Surrounding the emblem are two concentric golden circles containing the words THE JUDICIARY REPUBLIC OF SOUTH AFRICA, also in gold.  This flag is displayed in courtrooms together with the national flag of South Africa.

The emblem of the Judiciary comprises an open book in the colours of the South African national flag on which is placed the "scales of justice" surmounted by nine rays of a rising sun, all surrounded by a laurel wreath - the latter all in yellow (gold).
This emblem is also used by the Office of the Chief Justice of South Africa.
