Introduction: Packers Franchise

The Green Bay Packers are a professional American football team, members of National Football Conference (NFC) North division, part of the National Football League (NFL). Based in Green Bay, Wisconsin, the Packers are the third-oldest franchise in the NFL having been formed in 1919. The Packers are unusual because it is the only community-owned major league professional sports team in the United States.
The Packers have won 13 league championships, the most in NFL history, with nine NFL titles before the Super Bowl era and four Super Bowl victories. They won the first two Super Bowls in 1967 and 1968 and were the only NFL team to defeat the American Football League (AFL) prior to the AFL–NFL merger. The Vince Lombardi Trophy is named after the Packers head coach of the same name, who guided them to their first two Super Bowls. Their two further Super Bowl wins came in 1997 and 2011.
Note: Be aware that there are a host of manufacturer's variants of these and other fan flags being marketed for Bear fans. This includes garden flags, banners, and pennants.

Green Bay, Wisconsin, and their Packers have claimed the title of "Tittletown, USA" based on their 13 NFL Championships, the most championships for a city. However, this is disputed by towns such as Boston, Massachusetts (9 NFL championships in 13 years for their New England Patriots, and four Super Bowls in 2001, 2003, 2004, 2014. They add the Red Sox World Series wins in 2004, 2007, 2013, the Boston Celtics in 2008, and the Boston Bruins in 2011). Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania also throws it's cap in the ring with its Pittsburgh Steelers record six Super Bowl victories, more than any other NFL team. This flag, however illustrates how the citizens of Green Bay feel about the whole thing.
