Introduction: The Buccaneers Franchise
National Football Conference South division

The professional American football team based in Tampa, Florida, is known as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, or Bucs. The Bucs currently compete in the National Football Conference (NFC) South division, part of the National Football League (NFL). They began to play in 1976 and originally were part of American Football Conference (AFC) West division. As part of the 1976 AFL/NFL expansion plan the Buccaneers switched conferences to join the National Football Conference South. The Buccaneers play their home games at Tampa Stadium (1976-1997) but switched to the newer Raymond James Stadium in Tampa in 1998.
In 1979 the Buccaneers became the first expansion team to win a division title, win a playoff game, and to host and play in a conference championship game. In 2002 the NFC league champion Buccaneers won Super Bowl XXXVII. In 2021 the Buccaneers made their second Super Bowl appearance, under the leadership of newly recruited veteran quarterback Tom Brady in his first season away from the New England Patriots. Brady would become the oldest player (at 43) to play in the Super Bowl, and the only quarterback to win seven Super Bowls in NFL league history. The Bucs defeated the favored American Football Conference (AFC) champion Kansas City Chiefs 31-9 in Super Bowl LV (55).
Note: Be aware that there are a host of manufacturer's variants of these and other fan flags being marketed for Colts fans. This includes garden flags, banners, and pennants.
