Flag

The village of Barbourville has informed me it has no flag.
Valentin Poposki, 1 September 2009

The flag is a white field with a thin black border. In the middle is white silhouette with a black outline and shadow which appears to somewhat resemble the village's official border limits. three blue streams resemble the Guyandotte River, The Mud River, and an unnamed tributary of the mud river. The various objects from left to right include: A graduation cap, the civil war flags of the Union and the Confederacy, a star, a steamboat, a tree, and an old fruit basket with what appears to be apples. The village name is displayed at the top in red with the founding date at the bottom, also in red.
