"It was confirmed in April, 10th, 2003 by the decision #89 of VII village council session of XXIV convocation.
Rectangular panel consists of three horizontal strips - green, dark blue, yellow - in the ratio 9:2:9."
The rayon was founded on March, 7th, 1923.

"It was confirmed in April, 10th, 2003 by the decision #89 of VII village council session of XXIV convocation.
Per fess by an azure wavy barrulet on vert and or. In the first part is the opened argent book with a purple cross. In the second part over purple embattled masoned base is argent bow with an arrow edge up on which are two argent sabres saltire. The board is framed by a wreath from oak leaves and pine branches; the wreath is intertwined by an azure tape and comes in the end by or ears. The author is A. Marchuk.
The wavy barrulet means Irpin and Zdvyzh rivers. Vert and or mean wood and steppe. The book is the sign that in this area was born the outstanding spiritual figure of XVII-XVIII centuries Dmytro Rostovs'kyi. The defensive wall symbolises protective value of area in the past, bow and sabres - events of XVI-XVII centuries war.
