About the flag

Taitung county government adopted a new flag and logo in last year. New flag is white with county's logo and with its Chinese and English name.
The new logo "combines the first-class heritage – moon-shaped stone column, Taitung Phalaenopsis, and Yami canoe to express the diversity and harmony of Taitung, as well as its ethnic fusion and rich history. The color is clean and bright to exhibit the natural and unique ocean culture of Taitung. The design is in shape of a sail, representing the vitality of Taitung sails to the world class."
