The clan of Rashid Ali, of the Jebel Shammar, fought Ibn Sa'ud for control of Arabia.

According to Wikipedia, the House of Rashid ruled an emirate in Nejd during the 19th century, and were the principal competitors of the House of Saud. They were centered in a city called Ha'il in northern Nejd and had more of a commercial orientation than the Sauds, deriving their wealth from their location on the route of the Hajj.

Two flags are shown in Wikipedia; the source given for them is the Arabic Wikipedia and a Rashidi website (dead link). The first is an Ottoman-like flag with golden charges: a very thin crescent and an 8-pointed star, the last shifted upwards.

The second is an Arab Revolt flag with the lower white stripe replaced with a golden one.
