Shield Vert, a Tuscan column Argent flanked by two flying sparrows Or respectant, in central chief a wheel Or with spokes and blades Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank)and white scroll, reading "PARDAIS - VILA VIÇOSA" in black upper case letters.
Meaning:
The sparrows (Portuguese: pardais) are canting elements. The bladed wheel as an instrument of torture is an attribute of St. Catherine, the local patron saint.

Pardais is one of the four communes of Vila Viçosa Municipality. It had 546 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 17,83 km².
