Shield Vert, an eradicated oak Argent acorned Or, flanked by two wheat ears Or in pale, issuant from base a triplemount Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll (Bénard Guedes style) with inscription in black capitals "FORTIOS"

Fortios Commune is one of the seven communes of Portalegre Municipality; it had 2018 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 65.9 km².
