Description of the flag

It is a green over white over red horizontal tricolour with ratio 1:2:1. A red Phrygian cap is in the middle of the green stripe. In the middle of a white stripe is a French shield as follows: white with five quinas having a red bordure displaying seven golden (= yellow) castles, realized as towers. On top of the shield is a golden rising, radiant sun.
