Szerzyny - rural commune, Tarnów County, Małopolskie Voivodship.
Village established in 1368.
Arms and flag adopted on March 29, 2007 (resolution # VI/33/07))

"Arms: on the red shield, over the golden triple hill, there are five sliver roses and among them, in the middle, the Coat of Arms of Polish nobility - Sas.

Flag: a rectangle in ratio: 5:8 divided horizontally 2:1 into the yellow band (wide) and the red one (narrow).  In the canton, at the hoist, the Arms are placed."
