Blazon: I svart et gull elggevir. In English: Sable moose antlers or.
Approved by the royal resolution of of 21 December 1984 after a drawing by Nora Stommyrbakken and Einar H. Skjervold. [c2j87]
The region is known for hunting and mountain traditions. A monumental set of antlers of rare golden colour are displayed in the municipal hall and they were used as model for the arms.
