Blazon: I blått en sølv dobbeltsparre. In English: Azure a double chevron argent.
(I was reluctant to literally translate the "dobbeltsparre" as double chevron, but eventually found an example of such in French blazon of Montreff.)
Approved by the royal resolution of 7 January 1983 after a drawing by Oddvar André Enggav. [c2j87]
The blue stadns for the sea. Three points of the doiuble chevron stands for three previous municipalities - Stokken, Flosta and Austre Moland. The double chevron also spells out the letter M.
