The city emblem was adopted in 1909 but there is no flag law.
The white flag is charged with blue city emblem in the center.
The flag proportions are 2:3.
The city emblem is composed of kanji 和 WA in the center and stylized katakana カ KA in a circle form.
The mountain shape represents the topography of the city surrounded by mountains in three directions.
The white arrow stands for the development of the city.
