Flag of Desinić (reconstruction) - Image by Željko Heimer, 11 September 2011

The symbols of Desinić are prescribed by Decision Odluka o grbu i zastavi Općine Desinić, adopted on 25 January 1994 by the Municipality Assembly and published on 25 February 1994 in the County official gazette Službeni glasnik Županije Krapinsko-zagorske, No. 2.
It is prescribed that the start of the use of the symbols shall be
after approval by the Ministry, which never happened, as far as
I am aware. The symbols were, apparently, in at least limited use,
nevertheless.
The flag is prescribed as follows.
... composed of three fields of different colours and the coat of arms in the centre of the flag. The colours of the flag are derived from the coat of arms. The first field is red, symbolizing warmth and philanthropy [sic!]. The second field is white symbolzing purity. The third field is green, symbolizing the town of Desinić, full of vegetation.
The flag description is ambiguous - it does not state how the three fields are ordered on the flag. My assumption is that these are the horizontal stripes; however, without confirmation my drawing should be considered a reconstruction only.
