Presentation of Fuentepiñel

The municipality of Fuentepiñel (120 inhabitants in 2010; 1,203 ha) is located in the north of Segovia Province, 60 km from Segovia.

Symbols of Fuentepiñel

The flag and arms of Fuentepiñel are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 25 April 2001 by the Municipal Council, signed on 30 May 2001 by the Mayor, and published on 12 June 2001 in the official gazette of Castile and León, No. 113, p. 9,071 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular flag, with proportions 2:3, made of two vertical stripes with proportions 1:3 and 2:3, at hoist, white with the municipal coat of arms, at fly blue.
Coat of arms: Per pale, 1. Gules a fountain [fuente] or, 2. Argent a pine [pino] eradicated vert, grafted in base azure three wheat spikes or. The shield surmounted with a Royal crown closed.
