Description

The flag of Puerto Serrano, a Cádiz municipality, is: vert, coat of arms ("minimal" dimensions) in the center. Coat of arms: party per fess, or and argent; on the I, a horse argent dressed azure and leashed gules, passant dexter with broken leashes; on the II, on a mount vert an olive tree proper; royal crown, closed with five stems and padded red. This flag was approved in 9 July 1987 and the horse with broken leash cames from a legend that the conquest of this Moorish castle town was possible by following the strayed horse of the adalid (mayor) as it cut itself loose in battle and returned to the castle...
