Introduction

The municipality of La Revilla de Ahedo (143 inhabitants in 2009; 1,529 ha) is located 50 km from Burgos.

Description

The flag and arms of La Revilla de Ahedo are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 7 January 2006 by the Municipal Council, signed on 1 June 2006 by the Mayor, and published on 12 June 2006 in the official gazette of Castile and Leon, No. 112, p. 11,199. The symbols are described as follows:

Municipal flag: Square in proportions 1:1 and tricolor. First, red (0.30); second, white (0.40); third, robin red (0.30), in the middle the municipal coat of arms.

Coat of arms: Per fess, 1. Vert the arms of the town of Burgos, 2a. Gules a lion rampant ensigned with fleurs-de-lis of the same, 2b. Argent two beeches vert surrounded with two sickles sable and wavy azure charged with trouts argent. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed.
